James Fauvell

James Fauvell is a Producer, Director, Actor and Co-Artistic Director. He served as Producer on ‘The Rise and Fall Of A Teenage Cyberqueen’, which won the 2013 NYIT Award for Outstanding Premiere Production of a Play. James also recently collaborated with Vertigo Theater Company- directing both the sold-out run of The Living Room Series by Padraic Lillis and a shorter piece for COLLAB by Lindsay Joy. He also directed Lindsay Joy’s Repast at the Tank Theater as part of the Zurich, NY Cycle. He directs a bi-monthly monologue series, which has performed at Jimmy’s No. 43 as well as the Barrow Street Theater and featured the writing of Jessica Brickman, Lawrence Dial, Lindsay Joy, Mike Lavoie, Padraic Lillis, Daniel Talbott and more. As an actor, his most recent performance in ‘Carroll Gardens Aborning’ led NYTheater.com to say he “is perhaps the most likable performer I have seen this year” Other credits include: ‘Mike Birbiglia’s My Girlfriends Boyfriend’(Lucille Lortel Award, Outstanding Solo Show). Film Credits Include; ‘Sleepwalk With Me’(Winner, 2012 Sundance Film Festival’s Next Category) written by Mike Birbiglia and Ira Glass, and ‘Chasing Home’(Gotham Film Festival. He currently serves as Co-Artistic Director of the Award Winning LabRats Theatre Company.
